A great ebusiness idea is by far the ultimate key to success when building a profitable website.
When researching options for the best and most profitable website ideas one place to turn to is Google. Google has many, many hidden treasures. Using the powerful tools available from Google to discover great ebusiness ideas is a winning strategy.
That’s not to say that you shouldn’t use every research resource at your disposable. After all, you are going to put a lot of time, effort and hard work into building a profitable website. The key to success when building a small online business is all in the research and planning.
You need to start with an idea.
A great idea.
A profitable idea.
That’s where the research comes in. Research will confirm that your idea will be profitable.
The past several years have consistently demonstrated that there are several general topic areas that have a high degree of profitability. Three great profitable ebusiness ideas are websites that have topics related to:
* Real estate
* TechnologyNow each of these ideas are extremely broad topic areas.
As a matter of fact, each of these topics is way too broad for beginning a small ebusiness. For example, the general topic of “financial” can include anything from budgeting, investments, credit to insurance, loans, and debt management.
However, starting from a broad perspective gives you many opportunities to research a wonderfully profitable niche for your website.
So narrow down the focus of any one of these 3 great ebusiness ideas.
Start with using Google’s free adwords tool to identify specific website niches that return a lot of profitable keywords. Then start to narrow down your search to create a highly specialized and focused niche.
For example, using the financial topic again you might discover hidden potential in “managing college student loans” or “avoiding foreclosure”. Be sure to research all aspects of the potential niche you have identified so you are confident that it will be a profitable one.
Then all you have left to do is to get started putting that great ebusiness idea to work for you by building a profitable website!

3 Ideas To Get The Most From Your Display Url
If you’re like most advertisers, you do not pay your AdWords display url much attention. For those that don’t realise, I mean that green line of text at the bottom of your ad.
Most people hurriedly type their website domain name and move on. But, pay close attention now because you could be missing out on a valuable advertising opportunity for your business!
Getting The Most Benefit From Your Display URL
Here’s a brief list of how you can make the best use of the display url in your ads:
1. Use your most popular keywords as sub-domains.
Let us say that you sell dog food and you have a section in your online store that features organic dog food. If you were to make a sub-domain for your website called organic, then you could use “organic.yourdomain.com” as the display url in your ad.
Whenever people use search terms similar to “natural organic dog food”, “organic dog food” and “best organic dog food”, your ad will show the word “organic” in bold.
You now have a perfect way to get more attention for your ad by making it stand out more from the herd.
Warning: Take care not to break Google’s rules for ads and insure your domain name in the display url always matches that used in your destination url.
2. Using keywords in your url
A different way to include keywords in your AdWords display url is to append them to the end of your domain name as web pages.
Let us look again at our illustration website for selling dog food. Now, we are going to compose an ad that will target the pedigree section of our online store.
This time you are going to add the main keyword for the ad group onto the end of your website domain name so that it reads “yourdomain.com/pedigree”.
You need not worry if the web page your display url points to doesn’t exist. There is nothing in adWords rules that says your display url needs to point to an actual web page.
Now, when searchers use keywords like “pedigree dog foods”, “pedigree dry dog food”, and “cheap pedigree dog food” the word pedigree is highlighted in your AdWords ad url, once again making your ad stand out more.
3. Advertise your special offers
The text you place after your domain name doesn’t have to be a keyword. It’s also okay to promote special offers, product names (watch out for copyright infringements) and service offerings.
Let’s look at this idea more closely. Your online dog food shop wants to promote its free e-book Healthy Eating for Dogs that its customers get with their first purchase. Your display url might now read, “yourdomain.com/e-book”.
You could also promote your spring sale as yourdomain.com/SpringSale or a discount on all orders using yourdomain.com/50DollarsOff as a display url.
Remember To Always Keep to the Rules
You’re now starting to realise the number of different ways in which you can use your AdWords display url. However, if you want to be sure that your ads will always be approved by Google, then you must stick to the rules:
use the same top level domain in your display and your destination url.
the display url can be no more than 35 characters long.
the display url must point to an actual web site but doesn’t have to point to an actual web page within that site.
the prefix www. or http: can be left out of your display url to give you more space.
your domain name must end with a valid top level identifier like “.com” or “.co.uk”.

3 Simple Steps to Source For Low Competition Keywords When Doing Internet Affiliate Marketing
The internet affiliate marketing game can be a very competitive one, so unless you learn the real effective ways to stay on top of the internet affiliate marketing game, chances are, you’ll not make a single cent online.
One good way to do that is to source for low competition keywords so you can advertise your offer or rank your affiliate site without anybody competing with you. But if you’re not careful, you can get this step wrong.
So to keep you on the right track, try this 3 step method to source out the low competition keywords so you stay on top of the internet affiliate marketing game.
Step 1 – Find Keywords Related to Your Niche
Keywords are terms people key into the search engines to search for what they want. And usually the longer the terms, the less competition there is.
And if you remember, having less competition is what you need in order to stay on top of the internet affiliate marketing game.
Go to the Google.com keyword tool and key in your general search term that’s about 2 to 3 words long, and a list of 100 related keywords should be displayed.
You can even dig further when you discover a good keyword among the many that is returned.
Just re-enter that keyword into the tool and see what comes up. Then collect more suitable keywords that you can find.
Step 2 – Eliminate Those With Little Search Volume
Search volume is crucial in the internet affiliate marketing business, because little to no search volume reflects no demand. So we must be careful not to choose keywords with little to no search volume.
Change the Google keyword tool settings so it return you terms with more than 1000 global searches a month. Then start by choosing your keywords from the least volume of searches to the most.
Choose as many related keywords as you can, then proceed to step 3.
Step 3 – Eliminate Those With High Competition
Enter your keywords in Google.com one by one in quotes, e.g. “Your Keyword”.
Then watch the number of searches returned. If the number of search results returned is less than 50,000, then keep the keyword. Or else, discard it.
Rinse and repeat for all other keywords and you should end up with a list of keywords that have more than 1000 searches and less than 50,000 competing sites, which means enough demand, yet easy to rank for at the same time.
Rinse and repeat the above 3 steps as you see fit so you stay on top of the internet affiliate marketing game and not lose out.
3 Steps You Can Take To Increase Mind Power With Quantum Physics
Can you imagine having the mind power to attract an abundance of health, wealth, and relationships easily and effortlessly? Quantum physics talks about this in detail. Simply put, quantum physics teaches us that “thoughts become things”. Most folks have a hard time with this and that’s what keeps them from achieving their goals.
The top 5% of wage earners have learned how to increase their mind power and that’s why they are in the top 5% of the population. However, with these three simple steps you too could dramatically increase your mental power to grasp new concepts faster, significantly increase your memory retention, boost your creativity and your mental clarity.
• Spend the first 15 minutes of your day thinking about what you want. If you want a new job, focus on that new job you want. Imagine watching yourself on a movie screen in your new job. Get the feelings of being in that new job and imagine how your life will be different. Thoughts become things, so think about the things you want. Don’t get discouraged when it doesn’t happen over night (because it won’t). After all, Tom Brady didn’t become Super Bowl MVP over night either.
• Become a student of what you are focusing on. For example, if you want to become an entrepreneur making a 7 figure income then read books about successful people in the field you want to be successful in. Spend about 1 hour in the morning reading and 1 hour at night reading. If you have to wake up early to do this, the do so. At this pace, you’ll be reading about 1 book a week. That’s 52 books a year. If you read 52 books about a specific topic, you would practically be an expert at it.
• Turn your car CD player into an automobile university. If your commute to and from work takes 1 hour a day total, that’s 5 hours a week. An average college lecture is around one hour. One week of commuting to and from work is about the same amount of time as 5 college lectures. At roughly 48 working weeks a year that’s around 240 hours worth of college lectures. 240 hours equals 15 college credits! You could earn the equivalent of a college degree in around 4 years just by sitting in your car. So buy some CDs for your car that pertain to your goal and spend that car time learning instead of listening to that useless rubbish on the airwaves today.
The three steps I just labeled will help you increase your mind power by using quantum physics. Most if not all average people do NOT do these things and that’s why they are average people, with average jobs making average salaries. However, most if not all highly successful people DO these three things and that’s part of the reason they have abundance in their life.
I have been using these simple exercises for several months as of this writing and it truly has been a life changing experience. It requires discipline and a drive to succeed. But after a short time, it will become part of your life. So dive in today and enjoy your life fully.
4 Most Popular Tractor Brands According To Google
Tractors are an important staple of the average farm. Without one, farmers and field hands would have a much harder time getting their work done. In the U.S. and around the world, tractors have successfully replaced beasts of burden as the primary implement for planting and harvesting crops and for countless other farm-related tasks.
Tractor enthusiasts everywhere are always on the lookout for a new restoration project. Like farmers, collectors, farm history buffs and others in need of information on tractors, tractor enthusiasts use Google as a primary source for researching facts and data on tractors.
Many of these users tend to enter search keywords with a single brand of tractor featured. These people may be looking for the latest tractor lineup or replacement parts for their existing tractor make and model. These searches have produced data that’s useful for gauging the popularity of certain tractor makes.
Here are 4 most popular tractor brands according to Google:
John Deere tractors are the most well known in the world. With 368,000 global monthly searches, this U.S.-based company is the clear leader in Google searches. John Deere tractors are highly identifiable by their green tractor bodies and yellow wheels, a mainstay color scheme since the company began building tractors. Deere & Company, the entity behind the John Deere brand name, also produces a wide variety of mechanized farming implements, construction equipment and lawn care machinery.
The company also provides diesel engines, transmissions and other drivetrain components for use in heavy machinery. During its history, John Deere has produced over 450 different models of agricultural tractors.
Ford tractor is the second most popular tractor brand according to Google’s search stats, with approximately 301,000 global monthly searches. Ford tractors, also sold under the name “Fordson,” were produced by the well-known Ford Motor Company from 1917 until 1991, when the tractor division was sold to Italian automaker FIAT.
Well-known Ford tractor models include the Model F series and the later Ford 9N and 8N. These antique tractors are largely in the hands of collectors. Despite their age, many old Ford tractors remain in service on farms all over the world, thanks to their durability, basic design, and a ready supply of spare parts available from a small number of suppliers. In fact, it was estimated in 2001 that nearly half of the 700,000 N Series tractors built were still in regular service.
With 110,000 global monthly searches on Google, Case tractors are the third most popular tractor brand researched on the search engine. Like Ford and John Deere, Case has a storied history under its belt. The company’s namesake, J.I. Case, started building farming implements as early as 1842.
Most of these implements were steam-powered, but Case would later introduce gas-powered tractors and farm equipment by the early 1900s. While the company itself merged with New Holland to form a new division controlled by Fiat, the brand and its tractors continue to live on. Current Case tractors have the notable distinction of being able to run on “B5″ biodiesel fuel and with some modification, 100% pure biodiesel.
Last but not least is Massey Ferguson, with just 74,000 global monthly searches on Google. The company was formed as a merger between two existing farm equipment manufacturers in 1953, with the Massey Ferguson namesake being used in 1958. Nevertheless, the company can trace its heritage back to the original Massey Manufacturing Company that started back in 1847.
Despite currently being a subsidiary of farm equipment manufacturer AGCO, tractors and other implements are still being built under the Massey Ferguson name. Massey Ferguson offers ten separate tractor lines, ranging from sub-compact tractors for minor yard work to large, high-horsepower models for major agricultural tasks.

5 Top Online Business Ideas That Create Millionaires Overnight
There are many ways to make money online. What are the top online business ideas that have made many a millionaire overnight?
The 5 top online business ideas are as follows:
First, create and sell your own digital product
This is one of the best ways to make money online. What you do is create your own product, and employ affiliates to sell the product for you. In this method, you have full control over the product. You get to decide on the quality, price and content of the product. But of course, this control comes with responsibilities. As the product owner, you are responsible for customer service, market research and development of the product.
Second, be an affiliate marketer
Unlike other top online business ideas, you can start right away with affiliate marketing by simply promoting other people’s products. You need not worry about creating your own product, market research or customer service. The only setback is you do not have control over the product or a brand of your own. So, you would not be able to build your brand name.
Third, sell physical product
Selling physical product is one of the top online business ideas. Without me mentioning, am sure you already have an idea of what this is about. Exactly! eBay is one of the best examples where you can make millions selling physical products. If you don’t mind the hassle of packaging, delivering and customer service, selling physical products can be a lucrative online business.
Forth, sign up for pay per click or pay per view programs
In this category, one of the most famous top online business ideas is Google AdSense. This is where you earn money from each click of the advertisements other advertisers place on your website. What you do is get a Google AdSense account. Place the account code given on your webpage. This is where other Google advertisers’ ads will appear on your webpage. When someone visits your site and clicks on the advertisements placed on your webpage, you get paid. What you need is to get traffic to your website. But if you really want to make money with this method, you need massive traffic to your website.
Fifth and finally, sell membership programs
This is one of my favorite top online business ideas simply because it generates recurring income. A member who signs up will pay membership fees every month, week or year (depending on the rules set by you), until he/she terminates the membership. One time job, but you get to enjoy the fees repeatedly auto-pilot. What you need to do is to create the membership site, provide quality contents and information, and promote it to get members. Once there are members, you need to do very little from time to time to sustain the members. That’s why it is one of my favorite top online business ideas.
These are the 5 top online business ideas which have made thousands an internet millionaire. Choose the one that suit you the best and start developing it! You’ll make your 1st million in no time.
5 Ways To Become Fluent In British English Quickly
1. Do you practice on a regular basis?
How many hours a week do you spend learning American English? Do you learn every single day? The best way to learn a language quickly is to work on your language skills every single day. Do you do it? If not, you should start! An hour daily will make you a fluent speaker even in a year or so. The key is self-discipline.
2. Do you use British English?
By “using British English” I don’t mean learning grammar rules, listening to the recordings for learners and so on. I’m talking about using it in a natural way, for example by watching movies, speaking with native speakers, reading blogs, listening to music and so on. If you don’t do it, you won’t become fluent quickly. Fluency is about being able to use your new language easily, not about grammar rules.
3. Do you really want to achieve it?
I know, it sounds like self-help or something like this, but you should really want to become a fluent speaker quickly and make working on this goal a priority. Do you watch TV? If so, stop doing it and spend this time learning English. You’ll become a fluent speaker in no time. See? It’s all a matter of your priorities. How badly do you want to achieve your goal? Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
1. Immerse yourself
It’s the first and the most important step. If someone is looking for the best way to improve his accent or his language skills in general, I always say the same thing: stop studying grammar or learning vocabulary from a wordlist and start using your new language. I can’t stress it enough: be a speaker, not a learner. Acquire a language, not “study it” like mathematics or physics.
If you want to improve your accent, go and practice with native speakers (the best way to learn a new accent). Speak with your friends and concentrate on your accent (also very effective). Listen to American English on a daily basis for at least a few hours (to improve your listening skills and learn the correct pronunciation, intonation and so on). Just do it!
2. Get some feedback
It’s not only about speaking or listening, it’s also about getting feedback (so that you can improve). What should you do?
If you are speaking with native speakers, ask them to correct your accent. If you are listening to British music, sing along, record yourself and assess your accent (or send the audio to a native speaker… okay, don’t do it if you aren’t a good singer). If you are really serious about improving your accent (if you want to speak with a perfect accent), get some professional help from an accent reduction coach or buy an accent course.
That’s it – the best way to become fluent in British English quickly! Really, there’s nothing difficult in improving your language skills. All you need to do is to put these tips to use. It’s just a constant practice (on a daily basis!). Good luck and have fun while speaking fluent English!
Start listening to British music and sing or rap along with native speakers (find the correct lyrics online!). It’s a great and very fun way to work on your accent: your pronunciation, your intonation and… your voice! You can even record yourself while singing or rapping along to assess your accent – compare it to that of a native speaker and look for mistakes to eliminate.
2. Deconstruct it
Get some lessons about an British accent: about the rules of British pronunciation and intonation and making your speech more natural (by connecting words and linking letters). It’s a great way to improve your accent, because you will learn how it “works” and it will make you aware of many things that you didn’t notice before.
3. Learn from British by speaking with them
Get yourself a language partner – an British who wants to learn your native language. Practice with him face to face (if he lives in your city) or on Skype. Ask him to correct your accent and repay by helping him learn your mother tongue!
4. Simply speak with British
It’s the most effective way to learn a language – speak with native speakers as often as you can. Either face to face or on Skype. Speaking with native speakers will help you learn the real, spoken British English and if you want to become a fluent speaker, you should know some slang and informal language!
5. Read blogs
There are hundreds of great (British) English blogs. Use Google to search for some blogs related to your interests and subscribe to them. Reading is the best way to improve your vocabulary and it works even better if you are reading about things that you are interested in. Leave comments to blog posts to improve your writing skills and interact with Americans!
6. Watch movies
Watching movies is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in your target language. If you are a beginner, it will be easier for you to watch them with subtitles (of course in your target language). However, keep in mind that the best way to improve your listening skills while watching movies is to watch them without subtitles and train your ear without any help.
That’s it – six tips on how to learn British English from British. Learning from native speakers is the best way to learn a new language. Put these tips to use! Good luck and have fun!
7 Cool Things Most Bloggers Don’t Know About Google Blogger
Google Blogger is one of the easiest and most complete blogging solutions currently available on the Internet. Anyone can sign up and start blogging in a manner of minutes with the easy to navigate interface and tools it provides. But, there are a lot of things you probably don’t know about Blogger, hidden within the more advanced features of the site. These clever add-ons make it easier and more fun to post to your blog each day and can give you a slight edge over your fellow bloggers in drawing new traffic.
No Bandwidth or Storage Limits
In a world where storage has become incredibly cheap and video super sites are the norm, it makes sense that Blogger would not instill any limits on your website for storage. In addition though, Blogger makes it so you can receive as much traffic as you are capable of generating. No matter how much content you post and how many visitors you draw, Blogger remains free for the life of your blog and that’s a great deal considering how many features are built in.
Free Captcha Support for Anti-Spam
Spam is a major problem, especially for bloggers. If you talk to anyone who owns a private blog on their own server, or even those individuals with blogs on other services, you will learn that they constantly receive large quantities of spam. Blogger, by default, is built with a spam detection and blocking device that can keep your blog from getting over run by unwanted spam comments.
You can not only turn on the CAPTCHA software that requires a code to be entered whenever someone makes a comment; you can also require logins to Blogger to post comments or put commenting in a separate window so that spammers with automated software are tripped up. All of these options are available from Blogger’s settings pages.
Blog by Email and SMS
By far one of the coolest additions to blogging in recent years, Blogger allows you to post blog messages from a cell phone or email inbox. From the settings menu of Blogger, you can set a specialized email address that will post anything you email to it directly to your blog. This allows you to make blog posts from a smart phone or via a work or school computer on which Blogger might be locked. SMS features allow similar functionality, posting remotely to your blog.
Post in HTML
You can get very creative with your posts if you desire and post directly in HTML. Most people choose to use the built in text editor in Blogger, but what few people realize is that they can change almost any feature on the page by using the HTML editor. This allows you to use different colors, change font sizes, insert tables, or use a template for posts from a third party website. The possibilities are endless.
Themes and Skins
When you sign up for Blogger, you are asked to select the visual depiction of your blog using a specific template. However, you can change this template any time you want by installing a new one. Located across dozens of websites are templates that allow you to change the color, number of columns, location of posts, and any number of visual features on your blog. Do a quick search on Google for “Blogger Templates” and you will find hundreds waiting to be used.
Google Tool Integration
Google operates countless services for webmasters and that includes some of the most useful ones for bloggers. AdSense integrates directly into Blogger through a simple to select Blogger option in the Template menu. Simply click on “Add new page element” and choose AdSense and you can add your AdSense account to your page.
Other great tools offered by Google include Analytics, which allows you to track the visitors to your website, including where they came from, what keywords they searched for, what pages they viewed, and dozens of other statistic. Webmaster Tools is another essential tool that Google operates that allows you to track how your blog appears in the search engines.
Alongside all of these tools, Google will also automatically ping the major blog services such as Technorati and Ice Rocket with all new posts, allowing you to gain maximum exposure.
Enclosures and Videos
Newly added to Blogger this year is the ability to add podcasts and videos to your page. You can now choose to upload videos and audio snippets directly to Blogger and include them in your posts. The videos will be branded with the Blogger logo and you can bypass use of YouTube altogether. This a great new feature that takes advantage of the unlimited bandwidth and account size that Blogger offers.
Blogger is loaded with great features that make creating your blog quick and easy and Google is adding new features every day. Google is quickly converting a very good blog into a world class blogging platform.
7 Google Adsense Secrets – That Fire Up your Profits Immediately!

It is the biggest platform for advertising on the Internet. But what are the Google Adsense secrets to success in the Internet marketing industry?
As any marketing strategist would tell you, you have to make sure that your ads are attractive and catchy. You don’t have to make it stand out, really. You just have to make sure your ads are congruent with your website that it blends in. These give an idea of authenticity and not just spam ads on your website.
Make sure that you are using the right ad type and size. You might just be using too small an ad size to promote your product. Small ad sizes are not going to be effective especially when you have the entire text sprawled on your screen. Make sure the ad is proportionate and well laid-out on your webpage. It has to fit in a location where it will be seen and drawn attention to.
As mentioned earlier, your ad has to have a good location. Placing it high on the page is a good idea since it will be the first thing that a visitor will be seeing on your website. You don’t have to place it too high that it actually is totally ignored. You can place it right on eye level where the website visitor will immediately be able to see it.
Another of the Google Adsense secrets is to use images. Images help attract the attention of the visitor. Compared to text, the average person is attracted to more graphics than something to read. Of course, this means more potential people to click on the advertisement.
Another thing that you have to remember is to monitor your click-through rate. This helps measure the effectiveness of the advertisement. This will help you determine if you are making real profit from your ads. Make sure that your ads are making at least 5%.
Another thing that you can try to avoid is standard types of ads. As what was mentioned earlier, you have to have the right ad size and type to make it really effective. However, you have to know that most people are ad-blind, especially the web-savvy people. So you can try checking out Adsense’s most effective ad sizes to give you an idea of what really works and doesn’t.
Last of the Google Adsense secrets that you have to know is to make sure that the content of the ad is relevant and not misleading. You have read that it has to be catchy. But you don’t really have to sensationalize on the content of the ad. You need to make sure that you are delivering the right expectations to your potential customers.
7 Steps to Creating a Google Plus Page for Your Business
Just like Facebook and Linkedin, businesses can now create their own Google Plus pages. I can hear you now, saying, “Oh, no! Not another social networking site! Why bother with this?” The short answer is that Google Plus pages won’t be a relevant for every business. But since Google accounts for over 60% of the search market, its new offering is something worth checking out.
What’s the difference between a Google Plus page and a profile?
Your page can’t add people to circles until the page is added first or mentioned.
Pages can be created for a variety of reasons, while profiles are only for people.
Pages contain the 1 button, but they cannot 1 other pages or information online.
Pages can’t share to extended circles and don’t receive any type of notifications.
Local pages have special field that help visitors find the physical location of the business.
Here are 7 easy steps to complete a Google Plus page for your business:
1. Tied to a Gmail account. Your Google Plus page is tied directly to a Gmail account, so if you have several of them, decide which Gmail account you want to use to log into your page. If you don’t have a Gmail account, you can set up one for your business. The owner of this email account is the only one that can make changes to your Google page.
2. Create your page. Go to this URL to create your business page on Google:
3. Pick your category. You’ll have the option of choosing between a Local Business or Place; Product or Brand; Company, Institution or Organization; Arts, Entertainment, or Sports; or Other. I chose Company, Institution, or Organization for mine.
4. Title your page. I gave my page the title of my membership site, which is the business I wanted to promote. Right now it is unclear as to whether or not you can create multiple business pages from one Gmail account. If you have several businesses, you may want to create a separate Gmail account for each and create a business page for each account.
5. Complete the profile. You can upload your logo, your headshot, or your product images to your profile, as well as videos. You can also write a short description of your business for your page. As a page, you can still do Hangouts and share posts.
6. Ugly URLs. Unfortunately, you can’t create short profile URLs yet with Google Plus. So, you may have to buy a domain specifically for your Google page, or use a URL shortener service or URL redirect software. My favorite is Easy Redirect Script,
7. Use as person or a page. Similar to Facebook, you can switch between using your page and your personal profile to interact on Google Plus.
Only time will tell if this new option from Google will last, or if it will die a quick death like Google Buzz. Because it’s relatively simple to set up your Google Plus page, what can it hurt at this stage?

7 Steps To Write Attractive Email Messages
People receive hundreds of email messages every day. They read only a few of them due to interesting material and attractive style but most of the email marketing messages are deleted or considered spam due to ineffective, abusive or dangerous message and attachments. You can increase the chance of your email being read by writing an interesting message that is relevant to your recipients’. It is not difficult to write an attractive email messages since only a few steps are required to be considered while writing an interesting email message. You should write concise and short sentences and paragraphs since readers ignore long blocks of text. Below are seven steps that will help you create attractive and interesting email messages.
1. Target topics and statements of purpose of your email messages should be highlighted with separation marks and proper formatting. It enables the recipients’ to focus on the main points by creating a barrier between the main statement and its explanation.
2. You can use bullet points to get the attention of your readers towards certain points of your email marketing message. This will amplify your message and help you summarize the ideas you are trying to convey.
3. Use exclamation signs to make your main sentence emphatic. It also conveys to the readers’ that an important point is being made. Although, repetitive use of exclamation marks can be counter-productive, do not use it more than once or twice in the message.
4. You should not capitalize all the letters of subject line since it is ineffective and people delete such email messages. Use normal case throughout the message, including in the subject line.
5. You should check spelling and grammar of your email marketing message because misspelled words may diminish the value of your message. You can use various tools to check spelling. However, words may also used improperly in sentences; proof read carefully to avoid such errors. Improper use of words in a sentence may change its meaning, hence proofread properly.
6. You should focus on just one product or service to get a good response from your recipients’. Don’t provide too many links and conflicting offers in your message since it may distract your recipients’. Add a link or two to websites relevant to the message. Once you have got attention of your reader then your email marketing message will be profitable.
8 Reasons Why Your Cell Phone Battery Might Be Dying
‘My battery keeps getting low when I need it…’ ‘But I recharged it just this morning…’ ‘What’s the heck’s wrong with this battery…?’ ‘It’s just a year old… How can it fail?’
We normally complain about it, and most of the time we decide it is the manufacturer´s fault.
Fact is, cell phone technology has grown rapidly over the past 4-5 years, but battery technology just hasn’t kept pace. Cell phones use lithium-ion batteries with a normal lifespan of 2-3 years. They are efficient power sources and often last a couple days when fully charged.
If we recall 2003, it wasn’t uncommon to find cell phones that gave just 1 hr of talktime with a standby time of under 24 hrs, forcing us to recharge every night, overnight. These days, despite all the processing power involved, we can expect the typical Nokia or Sony cell phone to last much longer than that — Say 4-6 hrs of talktime and 2-3 days of standby time. Now, why do we get a real 50-75% of that? This is why.
We must take into consideration that manufacturers test the phone for calling and sms only when it comes to battery life, they do NOT publish the battery life when using many applications. So, battery life is tested only for the basic uses of the phone.
Under “normal” usage circumstances, however, we do a lot more than that. Here are 8 of the things that a cell phone tends to engage in on a real-world basis:
1. Bluetooth on most phones having it is almost always on.
2. We’ve got multiple applications running in the foreground and background – even those we’re not using.
3. Emails are being sent and the Internet is being browsed.
4. The brightness of our phone screen is set to high by default.
5. We’ve got sounds and vibrating alerts on, instead of functional ringtones.
6. For travelers and business users on roaming, the phone is constantly locating a signal — which eats into precious battery time like no one’s business.
7. We tend to overcharge our battery by keeping it plugged in for over 24 hrs, or the opposite — completely discharge the battery before recharging it again.
8. Lastly (and more commonly), our phone is continually exposed to heat, cold, dust, rain, oil fumes, shocks and vibrations, including accidental drops on a hard floor.
The first 6 consume power while the last 2 can irreversibly damage the cell phone.
Low power is the thing users complain about most, and the more service a phone offers, the more energy is consumed, but as well you stress processor and memory.
The overall performance of our cell phone depends heavily on how efficiently the battery is used in day-to-day scenarios. By cutting down on just a couple of the points above, the battery will last longer — not just between charges but also over its overall lifespan.

10 Ways Dogs Communicate Through Their Body Language
Since dogs are not capable of using words to tell you what they want, they tell us with their body language. To know and understand what they are saying, you just have to “listen,” with your eyes.
1. Tail wagging — You may think this means that it’s a friendly dog because her tail is wagging, but that’s not always the case. Dogs also wag their tales when they are agitated, unsure or even scared. Notice that a frighten, or submissive dog may hold the tail low and between the back legs, waiting for the next move from you, while an angry or aggressive dog may wag the tail high while they chases or even attack. Also look at how the dog has distributed their weight. If the dog feels threaten, the body will be tense and most of the weight will be mainly on the front legs.
2. Paw lifting — This could be a sign of wanting to play, especially if the dog is relaxed and has a happy “expression”. Lifting the paw may also mean there’s something like a burr stuck in it and wants you to get it out.
3. Rolling Over — When a dog rolls over on her back, with her back legs stretch out to both sides exposing her belly, she’s being submissive; especially if she does this in front of another dog. She is telling that dog that he is the boss she doesn’t want to fight.
When a dog rolls over on her back for you, this could have more than one meaning. It could mean:
1. She is trying to avoid something you want her to do.
2. She does this in an anticipation of a scolding from you; making an “apology” to you so you’re not mad at her any more.
3. More often the not, rolling over on their back is a sign of happiness and trust, in a pleasant submissive nature. Saying, “I love you, could you please rub my belly?”
4. Whining — Whining could mean several different things. It could mean she just wants some attention, or there is something wrong with her; she wants to go out to potty, is hurt or sad and lonely or that she senses something wrong with a member of your family and is trying to alert you.
5. Tail tucked with ears back — If you see a dog with the tail tucked, ears back and takes a few steps backwards, is a sign of apprehension. You, a stranger or even an object may make her feel this way. Example: Your dog walks into the room and sees the vacuum cleaner sitting in the corner. If she hasn’t seen the vacuum cleaner before, she may be startled at first, but then she will creep up slowly and cautiously with her tail tucked and ears back, to inspect it.
6. Mounting — When a dog mounts another, he is showing the other dog his dominance over him. This is not just a male dog characteristic; female dogs can show their dominance over males. They do this by putting their front legs on the other dogs back, or they stand above the other, telling him that he or she is “top dog,” not them. It could also mean that the female is in “heat” and wants to be breed.
7. Humping — Even a neutered dog will still hump a female, or a person’s leg. Even though the dog may be neutered, there is still that sexual intent in this behavior. If your dog tries this behavior by humping the leg of a human, you must make a loud noise to break his focus, which will stop him in his tracks, or if on leash, pull him away with a sharp jerk of the leash, letting him know that is unacceptable.
9. Ears back and to the side — If you see a dog with her ears back and to the side and her head is low with her eyes averted, then beware, because this is a sign of being afraid. A dog that is afraid could be a dog that bites first and asks questions later. But if her eyes don’t look worried, her body isn’t tense, and doesn’t have that winkles in her brow, than it may be that she just holds her ears that way when she’s happy or relaxed.
9. Ears pricked up — This has different meanings as well. She could be listening intently to a sound in the distance or to you for another command that you may give her, or this is a sign of a well-adjusted, confident dog. But, if the ears are up and she also has her hackles up, standing stiffly with a penetrating stare, the dog is demonstrating dominance or aggression.
10. Bowing — When you see your dog with her rear end up in the air with her front legs on the ground, tail wagging a mile a minute, with her eyes bright and happy, she is “play bowing.” She’s sending you an invitation to play, whether it’s with you or another dog, she’s now set in the “play mode,” and is ready to rump.
11 Different Ideas Segment Your Email Lists
Segmenting your email lists is an effective but rarely used techniques. In this article, I want to share with you 11 different ways you can segment your email lists.
Prospects that are now your customers
The moment any email list member becomes a new customer, it is time to switch them to a different level of your list. Special offer emails will be designed to this group of individuals and will not be sending to your existing prospects list.
Product lines ordered
If your current corporation has a large collection of unique product lines, it is a great idea to segment your prospective buyers and also clients by product or service line. Provide this segment certain offers as well as content relevant to the products they are interested in or even purchased.
Average ticket value
Many times a buyer of who paid $1,000 on average is actually worth far more than a client that will ordered goods from you than those that order about $100 on average.
VIP consumers will love to be recognized remembered and offered better attention. Send gifts and exclusive material or information and some of your best promotions to them.
If you have transactional customers who only purchase your type of product once every 3 years (for example), do you think it is a smart idea to segment this type of buyer so the moment you identify their recent visit or click of a specific campaign through your site, that they would be the perfect target for increased attention and offers vs. other times with this form of customer buying cycle?
Demographics might include things like age, race, gender, education levels, career, place of home, relationship status, number of children, income or additional socio-economic aspects, etc.
This isn’t to be confused with “Psychographics” or the identification of a particular characteristics that your customers possess that would have an impact on their buying selections. These could possibly be factors that include understanding their behaviour, passions, ideas, ethnic identity, etc.
If you have done surveys within the last year, you no doubt know a number of email members have different interests which will help you classify their interest levels in a variety of offerings associated with your primary product or service.
Open rate or CTR action rates
Basically, email list members which open your e-newsletter or even click on something on a frequent basis are clearly a lot more engaged as compared to members that do not click on things… for that reason, you can test delivering a higher regularity to your most engaged members to boost conversion or response.
Sales Produces Sales: (Follow Up Campaigns)
As soon as you’ve segmented your clients from your prospects, its time to speed up the series of emails that they’ll have as a distinct email segment based on the different types of products they bought. Your ultimate goal would be to boost the wise decision they made by buying from you and help them to purchase the next phase of items from you.
Wherever your email members came from is called an ‘acquisition channel’ and different acquisition channels include different characteristics. Example: Co-registration email list members will usually react or even convert in different ways compared to organically obtained email members.
Your prospects or clients in a foreign country seriously don’t need to read about your own domestic holiday talk. Better to segment by the major countries you serve to be able to offer geo-targeted emails that are much more linked to your members.
15 Tips For Powerful Email Subject Lines
Email Marketing – 15 Tips For Good Email Subject Lines
Use a number in your subject line. This will improve response rate. For example, if you are including five tips in your email, then using ‘5 Tips…’ as part of your subject line will increase open rates. For example:
“7 Cutting Edge Strategies to Increase Sales…”
“10 Essential Secrets to Website Success…”
“13 Groundbreaking Ideas for Saving Money…”
“10 Ways to Increase Sales…”
“7 Mistakes to Avoid…”
End subject line with three ellipses… Notice the three little ellipses (…) in the above examples of good subject lines. These are commonly used by good copywriters because human beings are conditioned to find out more when an idea has been planted in their mind, and so they read on to find out what follows. Ellipses act like a subliminal prod. The reader has had this unfinished thought planted in his mind, a loop has been opened, and the only way to close the loop is to read what follows.
Include an identifier at the beginning of every subject line. Particularly when your subscribers are expecting to receive a series of emails from you, helps brand your email as instantly recognisable as coming from you. You could use your name, business name or a number in a sequence, at the start of the subject line.
For example: “Fast Profits Video #1……….” “Fast Profits Video #2……….” and so on.
When you consistently provide quality content in your emails and your subscribers like to read them, including an identifier in the subject line helps make your emails easily recognisable so they will be opened and read.
Your subject line must be consistent with the content in your email, however you state it. When your subscribers open your email they need to be in the right frame of mind to read it, if you want them to take action on the email.
Use Email Subject Line Swipe Files to give you inspiration. Monitor your subject line open rates to see which subject lines are performing best. You should maintain a swipe file of all your best subject lines. Get ideas from top direct mail companies and magazine covers because they know what they are doing.
“The Biggest Mistake ………………. Make”
“The Real Secret to ……………….”
“The Fastest Way to ……………….”
Ask a question in your subject line that can only be answered by reading your message. Subject lines that ask a question arouse curiosity and imply that a solution is being offered within the email.
“Sharon, are you tired of feeling overwhelmed?”
“John, do you have time to relax at the end of the day?”
Use punchy, exciting words and phrases in your subject line to create interest.
‘the latest breakthrough’
‘a novel approach’
‘ahead of its time’
You can get some great ideas from “Words That Sell” by Richard Bayan. This is an excellent thesaurus type of book which can be a great source of inspiration for all kinds of copywriting both online and offline.
Here are the 12 most powerful words in the English language, according to Yale University researchers, proven to attract attention and stir emotion in readers:
You, Save, Results, Health, Love, Proven, Money, New, Easy, Safety, Discovery, Guaranteed
Use these words in your subject lines, in your opening sentences, and in the body of your email.
Use the word “this” in your subject line. ‘This’ is so powerful because it arouses the recipients’ curiosity, and they must open the email to find out what ‘this’ is. Other powerful e-mail openers are ‘here’ and ‘about your…’
Use the time benefit factor in your subject line if your product or service will save people time.
“Achieve the same fitness levels in half the time…”
“Complete priority tasks faster and save time…”
Create scarcity and urgency in your subject line if your offer is limited by time or quantity:
“Only 4 days left to buy at our special offer price…”
“Just 7 more days to book your exclusive spa treatment…”
“Mike, you have just 48 hours to respond…”
“Only 7 positions left, book your place now…”
“Just 175 copies remaining, act fast…”
Your emails will become more effective when you become good at communicating that something is time-sensitive or quantity-bound and it simply cannot be ignored. What do YOU do when you feel the sense of urgency or scarcity?
Command action in your subject line by encouraging your subscriber to act immediately:
“Act now, John, you’ll be glad you did…”
“Linda, you must watch this incredible video…”
Use breaking news in your subject line if you are promoting something brand new:
“Latest iPhone now available online…”
“Announcing official launch of new Range Rover…”
Refer to quality content and/or advice in your subject line when including content that teaches, informs or instructs:
“Sammy, 5 tips for saving fuel…”
“Elizabeth, 10 steps to a stress free life…”
Use a capital letter only at the beginning of the first word of your subject line. Capitalising the initial letter of each word in a subject line, or using all CAPS throughout, are definitely out. These shout ‘SPAM’ and your email may not be delivered.
Keep length of subject line less than 60 characters. The shorter your subject line the better – endeavour to keep it under 50 characters in length because research has indicated that subject lines with 50 or fewer characters had click through rates 75% higher than for those with 51 characters or more. 60 characters is the absolute maximum length you want. You want to avoid part of your subject line being cut off as a result of the size of the recipient’s screen or their screen resolution.
This information has been extracted from my new ebook just published on creating a money making website.

85 Ways Google Analytics Can Help You Grow Your Online Business
Google Analytics (GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. GA is reportedly the most widely used website statistics service in the world today.
Most online marketers currently use Google Analytics for basic stats to track the performance of their site. In fact, if you’re like most users, you very rarely venture far from the comfort of the reports shown on the dashboard.
Did you know that Google Analytics can generate up to 85 different reports that will help you analyze all possible data about your website traffic? GA not only tracks visitors to your site or the number of page views, it can be used to see which content gets the most visits, time on site per visit, which ads are driving the most visitors to your site, it track the performances of your marketing
campaigns, including Adwords, Adsense and emails and much, much more.
For example …
* You can identify where visitors leave your site and modify it to prevent losing leads.
* You can identify which pages and links visitors click on most and spend most time on.
* Analytics also tells you which sites users came to your site from.
* You can find out the most popular keywords users type into a search engine to find your site.
* Visitor segmentation by new vs returning users, geography and referral source provides invaluable insight when planning future business.
* Analytics integrates seamlessly with Google Adwords so that you can have almost end-to-end visibility in your search advertising results.
* Analytics allows tracking of other non-search-engine marketing media.
* Analytics will save you money and help you gain more customers
It’s not difficult to access any of these tools, or to create custom reports, and there are free tutorials you can take advantage of at the GA site. Admittedly it may feel a little daunting at first for those still relatively new to the internet, but if you’re able to invest the time to go through all the training you can take a test (cost to take the test is $50 USD) to qualify as an expert; which you can then include on your resume and post on your site.
If you’d like to learn the basics, particularly if you’re new to Google Analytics, you can download a free report – Understanding Google Analytics @ , or visit my site to download the report and find additional information at
A Brief History Of Ecommerce
Ecommerce was seen as a passing fad or gimmick when the pioneers of the process began. Certainly being tied to a computer screen to make a purchase you would need to wait for wouldn’t hold the interest of consumers. Yet inroads were made and sales were conducted.
One of the prevailing difficulties associated with early online transactions was the safety of personal financial information. As hackers gained access to non-encrypted data it was a rallying point for many ecommerce businesses. There had to be a better way to do online business.
The Debut of Encryption
Webopedia describes encryption this way, “The translation of data into a secret code. Encryption is the most effective way to achieve data security. To read an encrypted file, you must have access to a secret key or password that enables you to decrypt it.”
The keys to ecommerce were given back to online business when transactions became encrypted. The privacy of customer data allowed ecommerce to become a viable option for consumers once more.
Suddenly the world of cottage industry and extensions of brick and mortar stores began to flourish and entrepreneurs began to willingly dip their toe into the cyber frontier.
This was a new way of doing business in the cutting edge of intangibles. No longer did business owners absolutely need a sales staff, no longer was an outgoing personality required for business startup, no longer did business mean a storefront.
Business Without Borders
The possibilities expanded as more and more businesses began to recognize their business could be presented in a global fashion.
Business had been so associated with a town, region or district, but online business could be conducted without barriers or distinctions.
Ecommerce allowed the ‘every man’ an opportunity to explore the world of business. What had been seen as elite and unattainable was suddenly an archaic notion. Ecommerce thrived on a ‘no discrimination’ policy. Entrepreneurs of all ages, racial distinctions and economic levels began to find value in marketing to a worldwide clientele who cared more for the product than the arena of personal definition that often made brick and mortar business more difficult.
An Interesting Paradigm
A phenomenon that has taken place in many ecommerce stores is the advent of a growing percentage of online sales while brick and mortar store sales are either static or in a slight decline. This seems to indicate a change in the purchasing decisions and shopping patterns of consumers.
Perhaps in the future we will see more product fulfillment centers and fewer brick and mortar storefronts as ecommerce continues to gain steam as a premier shopping alternative.
A Few Advantages And Disadvantages Of Home Schooling
The whole home education movement began back in the sixties, with the hippies rebelling against all things government run, but since then, it has grown into a legitimate method of schooling. In fact, home schooling has become so big that colleges and universities now accept applications from children who have never been to school without question. But like any major decision involving your child, you have to weigh the pros and cons before deciding if home education is the right choice for you and your family.
Over the years, home education has received a bad rap due to parents who keep their kids at home, but dont actually teach them anything. These children often emerge from the cocoon of their home life as adults with severe disadvantages. They are not able to interact well socially and their knowledge of basic academic subjects is very low. When people see this, they assume that home education is not a good thing. Also, many people are against home education because they believe that the school teachers are better equipped to teach children than parents. The facilities in the school are better in many areas, particularly the lab and the library. For obvious reasons, gym class is quite different in the school environment as well.
However, not all home education is badly done. There are parents who are very well equipped to teach their children and as long as they realize when they are out of their league, there is no problem, as a tutor can be hired. Also, there are several very good curriculums available specifically for home use that are easy to follow both for student and parent. As long as care is taken, there is no need for social ineptness in the average home education student. There are a multitude of activities and classes that children can take to provide them with a social experience. In fact, many areas have home education groups where families who home school get together for various activities. The parents can discuss children and teaching difficulties while the students play games and sports and just generally interact with other young people their own age.
While it is true that classes such as phys. Ed. and science can be more difficult at home, there are ways around this. One way is to invest in lab equipment as a group, with several families pitching in to buy the required equipment. Also, many schools allow students from home educated families to participate in just one class without problems. This depends on the school and the area it is in, so its best to ask first. Home education can be a very rewarding venture for the right people, but you do need to realize that it is not a vacation. Studying at home means a lot of hard work and less motivation, since you have only your own family to spur you on.
For those who are not very disciplined, home schooling is not a good option. Weigh the choices, talk to other people who are already teaching their kids at home and then make an educated decision.
Analyze Keywords Using Adwords Keyword Tool And Excel Macro Function
If you are looking for a free keyword analyzer, read this article and learn how to analyze keywords using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and the Macro Function in Microsoft Excel.
Identifying what keywords to use for your web site or blog can mean the difference between success and failure so it’s important to get it right. The problem that most new business owners face is that they do not have extra money to spend on a fancy research keyword tool, like Wordtracker.
So what to do? Use what you already have at your disposal and maximize your free resources of course!
Google Adwords Keyword Tool
If you are not familiar with this tool, simply do a search and you will find it. Its only purpose is to help you identify a list of potential keywords. You will still have to analyze them to determine their worth. We will do that later in Microsoft Excel.
Input your general keyword idea into the white box under “Enter one keyword or phrase per line.” Fill in the security code and hit “Get Keyword Ideas.” By default, four columns of data will appear. To add additional columns, select them from the drop down menu under “Choose columns to display.” If you plan on using Google Adsense to monetize your site or blog, add “Estimate Avg. CPC.”
You should now have five columns of data. For definitions of each, click on the question marks next to the column heading. They five columns are:
Estimated Avg. CPC
Local Search Volume: Month
Global Monthly Search Volume
Normally you will get two lists of keywords. The top list is where you will find “Keywords related to term(s) entered.” The bottom list is the “Additional keywords to consider.” Under each list you will find links to download the data, including “.csv (for Excel).” Download both lists into an Excel Document, pasting one under the other.
Analyze Keywords in Microsoft Excel
You can sort through keywords in a number of ways but the goal is always the same: find keywords that are high in search volume and low in competition. In other words, lots of searches but very few people answering the call.
Those keywords are the keepers, the golden nuggets.
In addition to ease of use, Excel really is the perfect tool for this job because it offers you the ability to:
Filter out keywords that have very little value
Sort keywords in the order that you prefer
Categorize and format keywords for easier consideration
Display subsets of keywords on individual spreadsheets
Save workbooks on your own computer for reference
Let’s get to work on our list of keywords from Adwords. You should have one spreadsheet with five columns. Our goal is to quickly eliminate less useful keywords and get pare down our list to only the top contenders. We’ll do that by using filters.
First we’ll go through the manual process and then the macro function which will cut processing time substantially.
Using Excel Filters To Analyze Keywords
Select the top row with the headings. Choose Data-Filters-AutoFilters to turn on the filters. You should have drop down menus in each of the columns. Using the drop down menus you can sort out whatever you do not want to see, such as, the keywords with high competition and/or those with virtually no search volume.
For each column decide what, if anything, you want to keep or eliminate. A high level sort might look something like this:
Estimated Avg. CPC–keep only those with CPC of $1.00 or more
Advertiser Competition–keep only those with competition of less than .74
Local Search Volume: Month–keep all. Will use next column instead
Global Monthly Search Volume–keep only those with at least 200 searches
Now that you have determined acceptable thresholds for each column, set up your custom filters. In the CPC column click on the drop down menu and choose “Custom.” Here is where you will define exactly what you want to keep. There are 4 white boxes each with their own drop down menu. Typically you will only use the top two boxes to analyze keywords. Using the suggestions above, in the first box choose “is greater than”, type in “1.00″ in the second box and click OK. Do the same for any other columns you want to set thresholds for (see suggestions for each column above). NOTE: You do not have to set a threshold for every column.
At this point you should have eliminated all of the low quality keywords. Your list may still be quite long so a second round of filtering may be needed. Use Data-Sort and formatting, such as fill colors and bolding, to help simplify your list.
The final decision about what keywords to keep and get rid of can only be made by manually considering a combination of CPC, Competition and Search Volume. In addition to using these variables to help make your decision, keep in mind that the keyword or phrase must somehow be weaved into your content for maximum search engine friendliness.
Using Macros To Improve The Process
The process of using filters in Excel can be tedious especially if you have several columns of data and multiple spreadsheets of keywords that you are considering. That’s where the Macro Function comes in.
A macro is defined as “a series of program commands or instructions which are stored in a file and can be recalled when necessary.” Basically, we will record each of the steps that we did above and then save the macro and use it each time we process keywords.
Reading this brief macros tutorial will give you a high level view of how it’s done so that in the future, you can analyze keywords in a couple of mouse clicks.
With your spreadsheet of keywords open, choose Tools-Macro-Record New Macro. Name the macro something you will remember when you need to recall it, like “KeywordResearch.” Do not use dashes, slashes or spaces. Click okay. In Excel 2003, a small box will appear in your spreadsheet with a “Stop Recording” button visible.
Every step you take from this point forward will be recorded. Go through the exact steps above and any others that you might like to perform and then hit the “Stop Recording” button.
The next time you want to use the macro function, click anywhere in the spreadsheet and then choose Tools-Macro-Macros and find the named macro in the list. Hit “Run” and your steps will automatically be performed.
The process of analyzing keywords using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and the Microsoft Excel Macro Function will not only save you money but a huge amount of time.
